Our R&D department is looking for a HW Engineer to join our dynamic team. Could that be you?
YOUR TASKS
- Analyze and understand product requirements.
- Develop concepts and hardware architecture design, providing detailed specifications.
- Conduct hardware development using PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer), including schematics, BOM creation, and PCB layout.
- Understand EMC requirements and design products to meet all relevant standards.
- Define layout constraints and create comprehensive HW project plans.
- Manage, monitor, and report project risks.
- Plan and execute hardware validation (thermal, EMC, safety) using tools such as Ansys, Cadence, etc.
- Analyze EMC issues and provide cost-effective solutions to ensure test compliance.
- Document and specify hardware designs.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge in gas sensing is a significant advantage.
YOUR PROFILE
- Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering, Physics, Computer Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in product development, from design to SOP, and preparation of manufacturing drawings.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role. Hardware development project experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Expertise in designing and testing electronics cost-effectively.
- Proven experience with EMC-compliant designs and validations.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, UNE, ATEX desirable
- Experience working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, with an innovative mindset.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
